What do Panic freaks do when there aren’t any shows? They “Friday Night Panic”! A bi-monthly gathering, every other Friday at 9 p.m. Eastern.
On Friday Night Panic, two shows are selected, mostly from the “Golden Age” of Panic. Then we spin ‘em up and discuss in our chat room. Things get funny, things get weird, even a little poignant at times. We recollect our memories of the show, with each other, and just generally bask in the goodness that is a really solid Panic recording. We are spread across the country, but on FNP we are all in the same virtual room, clinking the whiskey glasses and hugging each other with the virtual smile.
Show nominations are welcome, and the choices are narrowed down to a small group, then vetted by former An Honest Tune editor, Chris Brewer and Couch-tour.com guru Ben Manley. We promise crispy goodness twice a month to provide your Panic fix.
Some of us drink, some of us lurk, but all of us get enough of the boys to carry us through another week or two.
We do it every other week, so feel free to drop in, say howdy and boogie to a song or two. We’ll be looking for you, and helping to get you through the rough waters that are known as the 2012 Hiatus.
